great garage towels!

I use them for regular shop towels in my garage. I work a lot on my car and also on friends' cars. I always carry these things with me and have a used towel bag by my side. Ideal for general use, e.g. B. for degreasing your hands or for quickly wiping something. Keep in mind that they don't absorb moisture as well as paper towels.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Out of style

Cheap. OK. Not absorbent.

Oo for towels but they don't soak up. They're good for removing grease and grime from hands and the like, but they can't be used at home in place of paper towels like a regular old t-shirt. Absorption is almost zero, water just accumulates at the top. Maybe hats by design. I was hoping that I could greatly reduce my dependency on paper towels and for some tasks I can. Others will require microfiber towels, and in between, old t-shirts will probably do.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Hard to say

Very coarse, very openwork, fluffy, not at all absorbent

Very coarse, very openwork, fluffy, not at all absorbent. Product photos do not show how transparent they are due to the open weave. Good for wiping up drops of grease and discreet as a small spacer between metal and concrete. Blue paper towels are better in almost every way except tear strength. The price is reasonable, around $0.20 each, but I'd rather pay $0.40 each and get something more versatile.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • old

Absolutely perfect.

I used the same rags for service when I had my own shop. They were expensive but the service cleaned them up so the service made it worth it. The fact that I can get so many of these so cheap allows me to be more selective about what I wash and what I just throw away. They're absorbent (enough), but their real value lies in the fact that they're damn strong and the perfect size. They're aggressive enough to get things really clean, but they're gentle enough that they won't hurt your hands…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Don't even think about using them on your cars.

I have to admit that I bought these towels because of the company name - Detailer's Choice - thinking I could decorate my car and motorbike with them. Unfortunately these towels are exactly as advertised - they are STORE towels. They are great for degreasing engines, wiping down tools, cleaning dirty equipment and the like. DO NOT use them on your vehicles. I tried one spot on my car and it left red lint everywhere. I know, I know the product is called Store towels so I should have known better

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • The list will be long.

I knew I was buying junk, but.

Good Bad Bought this despite the bad reviews. I intended to use it to wipe down greasy powder guns. Once you've used a piece of cloth for this, it's pretty much toast - you throw it away when you're done. They seemed cheap enough that I didn't feel bad about throwing them away afterwards. I thought how bad can these things be when they can't even be used to wipe down greasy metal? Now that they are almost burlap in consistency, there are few places where they can be used at all. Yes, they're…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Updates available
