Personally I don't have thick hair but I'm 100% natural and it works with the brush I have. The Edge Tamer tool is easy to use and I like that one side has a flat edge that helps when applying edge control.

I only used the brush for two days and then stopped. The control panel wouldn't stay on and kept detaching from the brush, making it difficult for me to brush my hair. I have long, thick, curly hair and the brush didn't reach my shoulders. This is of course my personal experience with JUST THE BRUSH! Everything else worked great! I'm still trying to finish the edges but other than the brush, everything else in this set is amazing!

Large set of brushes/combs. I've seen this combing brush many times (other brands) and wanted to try it. So I decided to just try this set and see how it goes. To be honest I don't know what the difference is between this brush and the brand name brushes but it works just as well. I use it in the shower to untangle knots after grooming.

It's been pretty good, the brush pen holder doesn't stick and it's definitely frustrating. Arrived earlier than expected so that's a bonus I guess.

The included green and blue plastic detangling brush is the craziest hairbrush I have ever seen! Each vertical row of teeth (teeth?) is individually attached to the handle, and you get a separate, small, horizontal piece of plastic with pre-punched holes and small plastic bosses that fit into the holes. The horizontal part that lies at the back of the columns should hold them together like a garden rake, but of course it all falls apart once you try to use it to brush your hair! Also included…

I could give it a zero star if it was possible I just bought it without reading the reviews Don't waste your money, this brush is a joke y I have 4c hair and use a lot of leave-in conditioner to detangle. When the brush comes out of the bag you have to assemble it with a small amount of plastic that doesn't hold the brush in place every time you need to reassemble it, doesn't even detangle wet hair. DO NOT BUY

I love almost everything but the little black dress. I don't know what it is and what it's for. Haven't used it yet but everything else works great. Definitely recommended for hair 4a,b,c.
