Small perfect for my terrier mix. The material is a little thin but I think if it was a little thicker my dog would be too hot.

Well from the picture it really does look like this is a thicker and heavier 'sweatshirt' compared to the paper thin material. Somehow my dog made a big hole in it (see photo). He literally wore it 5-6 times and then just ripped it. As with any canine/sporting item, sizing is far from accurate.

Bought this for my dog with intentions of buying a hoodie for cold weather. I bought it quickly, which probably caused my dissatisfaction. The item is listed as a hoodie and it is exactly that. This is a thin fabric for a t-shirt, not a hoodie like I need. I returned the product with no problems. Depending on what you want, this might suit your needs.
