These connectors are good for installation and especially good for making your own connections like I did. I have used them many times and they are a good product. Some of the wire gauges I use for them have a small issue with the space provided, but otherwise no complaints. For the price and convenience, this is the best option.

They were very usable but not as good as the 'real thing'. You need a particularly small screwdriver tip for the screws, and the small metal contacts often get caught under the screws, so that loosening almost every connection is an additional manipulation. They also held the wire in place, making them a lesser choice for applications that didn't require installation. However, they worked fine in my application, so once installed they are a great solution.

Easy to use, inexpensive and easy to install. . .FURTHERMORE . . . You can't insert the stripped ends of 10, 12, or 14 gauge (correctly sized...not oversized) wire into the designated pinhole (forget to tin the ends!) without cutting LOTS of strands of wire and thereby damaging them create a point of low/high resistance and reaching that point is no use using thick wire.
