When I tried them on I really liked the fit, feel and color of these lightweight purple school breeches. only to find that water or sweat shows up as dark purple spots on them. 😳 I am not sure if other colors have the same issue but would love to bring them back for black breeches.

Matching breeches! Not only are they comfortable, lightweight and great for riding, the black breeches also look good enough to be worn as "regular clothing" in everyday life. (Think of a legging/jegging substitute with a bit more support and a nice, flattering cut.) I am very happy with these breeches. Definitely order "Long" - "Medium" would be too short for me.

Ideal summer breeches. I bought four of these for training in hot weather. I machine wash and let them air dry. Purple - A duller purple that also looks good as an post-riding outfit. Black and anthracite also look good. The material is thinner and more elastic, but it doesn't look like it; looks thicker/more formal. The knee patch became a bit stiff after 2 years of use, but it will soften up after I walk a bit. I also bought Devon Aire jodhpurs for the show, love that brand. I'm 5'6", slim…

I bought these for my daughter in April in anticipation of a late summer show. For the price I didn't expect them to have a lot of durability but they were very comfortable and looked good wore them once in August, once in September and once in October and wore pajamas over them when not skating.Never practiced in them or worn them outside of those three events.Seems to have started on one on her legs and back is a hole (not in the seam) and another starts. Wouldn't buy them again :(
