Description of DEWALT 5 Inch Brushless Paddle

Brushless motor of the angle grinder requires no brush changes. DEWALT grinder's brake stops wheel in 2 seconds or less on average using DWA8914 wheel. The electronic Kickback Brake engages when a pinch, stall, or bind-up event is sensed, engaging with maximum force to quickly stop the wheel, reduce the movement of the hand grinder, and shut the motor off. POWER-LOSS RESET - The ON/OFF trigger switch has a no-volt release function. In the event of a power outage or other unexpected shut down, the trigger switch will need to be cycled (turned off and then on) to restart tool. LANYARD READY integrated lanyard attachment point (Lanyard not included). Variable speed functionality allows the user to adjust wheel speed for applications as needed. 2-stage trigger requires two actions to activate tool.

Ideal for grinding machines.

I love this chopper. It's super smooth. Crazy smooth. I don't know what they did to balance it so well, but it makes a huge difference. Variable speed works well. I wish it had a paddle style tail closure. Other than that, it's literally perfect.

nice grinder on angle grinders

I was looking for a new 5 inch grinder and found it in this gem. Perfect for my hand, variable speed, perfect paddle shifter, disc guard that spins like it's on ball bearings. Today I cut through a hardened piece of steel, set the speed to #3, no recoil, and the tool didn't get even a bit stuck. The case size is thin compared to almost all other manufacturers.
