Description of DEWALT FLEXVOLT ADVANTAGE Grinder DCG416B

Angle grinder gets up to 54% more power when paired with FLEXVOLT batteries. Kickback Brake of DEWALT angle grinder engages with maximum force to quickly stop the wheel and shut off the grinder when a bind-up occurs. E-CLUTCH shuts down the motor of DEWALT angle grinder in under a tenth of a second when a pinch/stall is detected. Compatible with all DEWALT 20V MAX* and FLEXVOLT Batteries. E-Switch Protection requires the trigger switch to be cycled (turned off and on) in the event of a power outage or other unexpected shutdowns to restart. Tool Connect Chip Ready: Chip pocket accepts Tool Connect Chip DCE042 and connects with Tool Connect Site Manager app for easy asset management on the jobsite. (DCE042 sold separately).

Lots of power - power and hand tools

Get a 60 V battery, you won't regret it. has the same power as my 5" Bosch chain grinder! It also works well with 20 volt batteries but 2/3 the power and the batteries I have are small 2Ah only last 10 minutes. The protection is great, tool-less adjustment so you can turn it easily.The paddle shifter is comfortable, not too heavy even with the large battery, the grip is comfortable in my big paws.

Awesome Angle Grinder

So this is my first angle grinder so I can't compare it to others. I have a lot of Dewalt tools and batteries so I chose this one. So far it's been able to cut through a lot of metal with a couple of port charge cutting discs and the battery seems to last a long time. I recommend this product unreservedly! It lives in my tool box with my other tools in my travel gear. Since I'm always out in the country and in nature, I find this to come in handy for emergencies in everyday construction…

Great grinder, instant shut off makes a big difference

I use a portable grinder for the quite often Work , punching of rebar and sheet metal . The grinder is a fairly simple tool, all it does is spin a cutting or grinding wheel, so it's hard to see how it can be improved much. This tool greatly improves the technology of older grinders. First, the performance of this tool is excellent. Just as strong or maybe even stronger than many corded grinders. The downside of this, of course, is that it drains the batteries fairly quickly.
