Powerful Brushless Hand Tool

I recommend this to anyone who needs serious hand tools. has plenty of torque and the power definitely lasts a long time on 5milliamp batteries. I already bought extra batteries which were on sale just in case.

Pros
  • VISIBILITY: The DCF887 produces shadow-free visibility with 3 LEDs with a 20 second delay after the trigger is released
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Very expensive. Drill seems good but driver could be better

Drive speed is too hard to control. It will break away from you, and if the angle and force of the pressure isn't perfect, it will turn on you, snapping the screw and chewing on the bit. At least in terms of the Phillips screw. He could use better variable speed control or a control switch that adjusts speed. For the drill I would give it a 5 so far, but for the driver I would give it a 3. Overall, though, I like the performance.

Pros
  • VERSATILITY: DCF887 offers versatility with 3 speed settings
Cons
  • No power

That's great. - Demolition Drills & Hammers

Look. If the price suits you, buy it. You will not be disappointed. It looks quality, it feels quality, it performs like a vengeful beast, and it gets even scarier when you get a flexible voltage battery later (if you need more options for some reason). It's not an iPhone. 9 months after release you won't regret waiting for a new one and there is nothing from other brands that can kill a puncher with the unfair flexible battery advantage that I know of. This particular charger is very fast and…

Pros
  • DCD999 is Tool Connect Chip Ready: The chip pocket accepts the Tool Connect Chip DCE042 and connects to the Tool Connect Site Manager app for easy site management. (DCE042 sold separately)
Cons
  • Long delivery time
