Cheap quality works but

All speakers are difficult to adjust. The bail can absolutely detach from the spool. There is a screw on each side that holds the plastic pins that connect the spool to the bracket and allow it to spin. Unscrew these 2 screws, pull out the pins, remove the bracket, attach the bracket to the ceiling, reinsert these pins through the bracket into the drum and reinstall the 2 screws. Please. Anyway, this device is ok, it's cheaper than my last one for about the same price. I don't like that theseโ€ฆ

Massive and impressive! So. BEFORE.

I am pleasantly surprised by the weight and solid construction of this cord reel! The cable is surprisingly thick yet flexible, and the cam and return mechanism is smooth and strong. I particularly like the LED indicator at the end of the fork, which makes it easier to locate in low light. Excellent purchase! UPDATE and DOWNLOAD to review! After only a few weeks of using this cord retractor, the cam lock has broken and will no longer lock outward. Just gonna roll back! This was NOT a case ofโ€ฆ

If it weren't for that annoying automatic switchover!

So overall this is a good product and it does exactly what you would expect but be careful! I connected my dust collector to this unit and it broke the switch. Other things worked fine. When I used a regular extension cord, the dust collector worked fine in the same outlet. This is not the same as a 14 gauge extension on a 15 amp circuit. Their 15 amp main switch allows a large inrush current, many times over 15 amps for a few seconds, which is what happens to the motor. There will be no smallโ€ฆ
