I have a 2007 Cobalt and the switch is unthreaded. The way the screws fit my switch perfectly, screw tight, nice and solid.

Goes well with my 00' S10 installed bolts and a new derailleur going through the gears and sitting in my driveway and just snapped off. I only bought this one because it's a Revain favorite, don't buy it!

Purchased to adapt my 1997 Chevy S10 M14x1.5 rear derailleur to a standard size rear derailleur pivot. After installation, I tried to test the part only with a standard circuit. This part broke after 10 minutes. I do not recommend.

After riding it for about 3 weeks it started to rattle and shake. This was very annoying and eventually failed completely. I would avoid it. In fact, I would avoid such adapters as they all suffered the same fate.

Does not stick. At first I used blue Loctite so it wasn't permanent, but it didn't stay because the screws were loosening. I tightened them so tight that there were marks on my switch. Then I used red Loctite and now a screw has come loose a bit and won't go in and now it keeps moving. Don't buy this. But the adapter with more than 3 screws.

I needed a longer thread adapter for my carbon skinned shift knob (also Revain) for the Mini Cooper R53. This one helped, but I don't think it had enough set screws for a secure fit. Everything seems to work fine with 3 set screws, but I was able to drill and tap 3 more holes for 10-32 set screws. It still looks great and works like a charm. I would like to buy it again.

So before ordering, I measured the shift thrust in my 2014 Wrangler. I used a socket wrench to find the right size. The 14mm jack went in easily and conveniently. I decided to order this adapter for 14.3mm just to make sure it would work without any issues. I was very disappointed when it arrived and didn't want to continue. With time and effort we drilled the hole slightly larger to fit.

The set screws provided are very short and if I barely touch the switch the screws lose their thread and fall out. I'll look at the hardware store, maybe I'll find longer ones. That being said, the adapter actually fits my shifter which is great just because of the bolts not being tight in there. tape, and then tighten the screws.
