I have been using Shiseido Cotton for a long time, but this time I chose DHC. This is a great product. The quality is excellent for the price. And leaves no lint on your face. However, compared to Shiseido, DHC feels a bit rougher and absorbs a lot, requiring me to use more lotion than usual. My current lotion has a dispenser and I used 5 pumps with Shiseido, but DHC cotton requires 7-8 pumps. The price is cheaper but I think I will return to Shiseido.

They absorb so much product due to the cotton lining, but the silky outer layer somehow keeps it from getting onto the skin. I bought these for tonics and serums but they turned out to be expensive nail polish remover pads. They're really lint free on the outside, so I think they're better suited for gel polish than skincare given how wet these thick pads get. Thought it might be a duplicate of my Shiseido must have cotton face products. You are not! The part where you can insert your fingers to hold the pillow is uncomfortable and almost useless. The pads themselves are fine. definitely NOT the same level as Shiseido. I will use these but will not repurchase or recommend as a replacement for Shiseido Facial Cottons. Nothing out there compares to this Imo and they don't even come close!
