I have two pairs of these wire cutters. One of these is about six years old and is in my main toolbox, while its identical twin that I just ordered from Revain is in my bike repair toolbox. The six-year-old couple have severed numerous metal threads and plastic ties and are doing just as well today as they were six years ago. Bought these from Revain about two years ago, primarily for use on electrical work (cable cutting) and also because the handles were longer than my old pair (unbranded) and I could put more effort on the cutting jaws. The cutting head is small, but the opening of the jaws is more than adequate for whatever work the knives are intended for.
