I was looking for a way to condition my curls on a daily basis without using heat. So I ordered them to try and get the same results. My hair has been natural for almost 3 years and it is very curly (with tight curls). I washed my hair, applied a deep conditioner, blow dried it and ironed it that night. I like to sleep with my hair in curlers for a number of reasons - it's comfortable, the heat doesn't damage my hair and I get great, long-lasting results the next day. I've been using this brand of foam roller for a number of years now simply because I can't find another brand of foam roller in this size 1.5. Update 11/20/18: After using them I liked them. I added lots of hair to each curler to create a fuller curl. The curl is initially tight, but as the day progresses it relaxes. Still looking good on day 2 (see my photo). Really holds the curls. I will still buy a wider foam curl to vary the curl size on my head but they are good. Rating upgrade to 4 stars.
