If your waist measurement is over 42 inches, I would think twice before ordering this versatile belt. My waist is 44 inches and the belt barely fits me. Me and the buckle I kept it because I'm losing weight and it's really good quality. Nice that it can be adjusted to any waist size and belt loop. The only problem is that it can't handle a lot of body movements. If you lift, twist and squat and put heavy loads on the belt together, it will start to lose traction. Like a normal everyday belt, although excellent.

I like everything about this belt except that it's a bit narrow. I have a similar green ribbed mesh ribbon that's more familiar to me (just over 1 1/2 inches) and looks fake because of it. I think I should have looked more closely at the measurements, but I usually think a men's belt is wider than 1 1/4 inches. I'm still happy with the purchase but it fits in the loops of my pants so there's too much freedom of movement.

I needed a new military style belt and Dickies had the color I needed. The belt is fine for tall men but being a short guy I just had to cut off the excess which I would never need and it fits perfectly. This belt is recommended because of the fit and the price.
