Works in lenses

Fits my macro lens Good lens quality. The only drawback is the not very adjustable aperture of the lens. I've used it 8-10 times and it keeps its shape.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • No instructions

Not for a small diameter lens

I bought it specifically for a diffuser flash for macro photography. However, I use a Laowa 65mm lens, which has a very small diameter. The opening in the diffuser is too large.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • don't remember

Does the job well - lenses

I use it for macro photography and portrait photography and it works great in both cases. I also use it with my "camera flash" as well as a Yung-nuo flash (on the camera). It really helps diffuse the light and gives you a great highlight!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some minor things

Cool little flash accessory tool

Overall it seems to work for some macro shots, spontaneous portraits and photos that use the built in flash. It's pretty cheap and needs more grip to keep it from slipping and sliding, but I wasn't expecting much from a cheap diffuser.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Some issues

Pros
  • Good marks for support and durability of testers
Cons
  • Some shortcomings

Not suitable for Nikon 105mm or Lowa 60mm.

It was too small for my Nikon 105mm and too big for my Loawa 60mm, my only two macro lenses that need diffuse flash. Seems like it will work just fine if only it fits. It would be nice if they made different sizes or used a rubber band to adjust the lens so that "one size fits all". The material also had holes along the outer edge. Just very cheaply made. That I wouldn't mind if it just fitted.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not the best

Good with two major flaws.

I love the idea of an ultra-compact foldable diffuser, but this falls short in a number of ways. First, it's incredibly difficult to destroy. There are no instructions included on how to fold the diffuser for storage, and this is problematic as it only appears to fold completely if you fold it in a very specific way. I've achieved this maybe twice out of the 20 times I've attempted to roll it. Second, it doesn't always hold onto all lenses. I have a macro lens that I use it on and often have to

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Functionality
