Always check your scale

When you get this scale I suggest weighing something of known weight. They weighed my dumbbells exactly 10 pounds. Another set weighed 9.5 pounds. This can be a problem when checking in your baggage and its excess weight.

Works as it should

Works as it should. My wife left the last one we had in the Bahamas. Worries. The cost of the scale was much less than the cost of the overweight bag.

Great deal with good weight

This isn't the first luggage scale I've bought. I found it very good compared to others. This is very accurate, I managed to keep the weight of the luggage within the normal range. In fact, the total weight was exactly 100.0 pounds (on two bags). No need to underpack for fear of overpaying. And since they're giving you two, that's an even better deal.

Readings can vary by more than 1/2 pound for objects weighing approximately 13 pounds.

This scale suffers from a common problem found with luggage scales. Various indications. I use it to weigh items around 13 pounds. and readings can vary by more than half a pound! I don't know if it's going to be more accurate for bags around 50 pounds. But they come back quickly as they are unusable for my application.

Handy device for home/travel since

Just got back from a trip and this device was very useful. I weighed my bag on this scale at home (44 pounds) and at John F. Kennedy Airport it was exactly 44 pounds. It's great to take with you on trips so you have an idea of how much weight you can pack in your bag on the way back. Also easy to use but definitely requires some force to lift the bag off the ground for more accuracy.

Ethical travel company

I LOVE this handy scale! Travel with me wherever I go (one lives in every luggage bag). Very easy to use. Essential to know if your luggage is too heavy and if you will check in at the airport. One of the two I received didn't work. The company was a pleasure to work with and quickly replaced the inefficient company with no questions asked. Bought as a gift to friends. Very happy with these scales, happy to support this ethical company.

Definitely handy: luggage & luggage

We needed scales for our international flights and you know how strict these flights can be on checked baggage weights. happy because it was an old fashioned hanger so we were pleasantly surprised when we got them. They are really accurate and easy to use. We take several flights on this trip and since they are very light (a few ounces) we pack them in our carry-on and backpack.
