This is my favorite thermometer out of my 47 thermometers. The reason is that this resolution is 0.1° and not 0.2° and you don't know if it's 74.2° or 74.3° because your thermometer only reads 74.3°. Most products say it's 0.1° resolution, but that doesn't matter, but I've noticed that with my other thermometers. take double-sided tape

We got one of these for our truck first as all other car thermometers show C. We wanted one that displays F. That's perfect. Sometimes it can "off" by about 1 degree (according to roadside thermometers, but we attribute that to being under a metal fender. Still, it's definitely done its job this year as we navigate winter roads, and should watch it closely for temp.I bought a second unit for our mini fridge as the other cheap non-digital versions burned out quickly.

Bought for a basement freezer. Our lighting is not the best so it is difficult to read this thermometer as there is no backlight. Otherwise I taped it to the outside of the freezer and put the wire inside. I seem to be reading closely, just making sure it reads -10 degrees to make sure if there's a 10 degree deviation everything stays frozen.
