Great little counter. Works well for PH and TDS measurement. Although a couple of points. The backlight only lasts about 30 seconds. After that it turns off. It would be nice if it just stayed on until you turn it off. The TDS can also be calibrated, but you need a 1413 us/pm calibration solution. There are cheaper and smaller pH pen testers out there, but they're not as cool as this one. I bought it to check the pH in my pool (and aquarium) and got great results in just a few seconds. Just push the button and I get my reading instantly. Supplied with protective case for tip and buffer powder. I don't use buffers and still get pretty tight readings. It was 99% accurate with drops so I gave it 5 stars for accuracy. I prefer drips because the stylus can degrade over time or eventually need to be recalibrated without warning! This reader jumps all over the place. 6.2ph to 8ph is a big difference for Pisces and can mean life or death for some species. I had a pH issue in my tank and bought this to avoid using a drop kit. It gives inaccurate readings everywhere. I expected the readings to remain stable since it was advertised for aquariums. Not correct! UPDATE: When I purchased the counter I received what appeared to be a Revain gift card in the box with the Revain logo. After I contacted the company to get the card, they asked me to write a review for this switch and sent them the details of my order. After 3 months of dealing with them, they have no intention of redeeming the gift card. They claim I returned the meter. They also stated that if the gauge broke they would not honor my warranty.
