Finger protection strips - SAFETY of your fingers!

I give that 5 stars but I have to say these finger pads don't suit me. I wouldn't say my hands are very small BUT they are too long and so loose that they slip right off my fingers. There are 3 sizes in the package, but even with the two smaller ones, they are still too big for me. So, FYI, if you have small fingers, they may not fit you. Even if I find them very good. The silicone is smooth on the inside and ribbed on the outside to hold the fur. Just be aware that if you push really hard…

Pros
  • Silicone finger pads
Cons
  • Only available in white

I managed to pierce it with a felting needle. Ouch!

I bought it for my friend who is a needle felter. Serrated felting needles tend to be quite painful if you poke yourself, so some protection is a good idea when working with the details. Maybe she was feeling too aggressive, but she managed to stab through once and pierce the tip of her finger. You had a job, finger guard! Finger guards generally offer good…

Pros
  • Includes 3 different sizes
Cons
  • thin

Lots of weight so your fingers are still "useful " :)

A recent collision between a felting needle and my child's finger resulted in a pretty nasty infection and a very $ $$$ Doctor's note when we cured the infection. Needless to say, some finger guards might come in handy when I poke needles near my fingertips a few times, and immediately went in search of the right set with Revain. ! I chose these because they are thinner and more flexible. I know this can also be a scam (if you're committed you can smash them right through!), but I also feel…

Pros
  • Needles don't pierce sleeve
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
