🔆 Upgradeable LED Recessed Downlight for Enhanced Dimming Capabilities Review

These bulbs were used to replace an electrician installed LEDs that had burned out during a power surge. I wanted "Daylight" and they are very clear and bright enough. Luckily they faded well. My only complaint is that they don't stay flush with the ceiling like the previous ones and we weren't able to completely get rid of the black bezel around the edge by turning etc. If this were fixed they would be perfect.

They're good, but a little extra work makes them great. 3) Since the retaining springs don't hold this flush to the ceiling very well, I used 2 white screws offset 180 degrees. Pre-drill 0.5" from the rim of the can through the drywall and metal rim of the can. This significantly reduces heat loss through built-in pot lights.

I took the initiative to replace the old light bulbs in the bathrooms and in the hallway without my husband's permission. I did the work with and without a ladder. Now he happily pays less for electricity and has much brighter lighting. Folks, don't try to wait for lightbulbs and spare bulbs to run out. Get LED bulbs. They are bright, I like bright light, I see much better. Installation is so easy! This is a well made and durable product!

None. They're not just bright. They're looking at the bright sun. It's like looking into the headlights of a Mack truck before it carries you through a bright light. Like the doorway of an alien spaceship, so bright. They're easy to install and, as others have said, aren't as tight to the ceiling as I was hoping. But they're no worse than the ugly yellowed trim rings that were there. I just installed them tonight so let's see how long they last. I'm about to order a dimmer.

replaces GE LED lights with these lights. I just wanted more lumens with this product on a 10 foot ceiling in the kitchen. It turns out these lights will not work with the NEW Lutron Caseta Dimmer. When I turn off the light, it still stays on, just very dimly, like a night light. But I try not to leave it on all the time. I should be able to turn the light off completely. The new Lutron dimmer worked great with GE LED Home Depot lights. Disappointed to have to return the item. I like the lumens

Very disappointing. Something is wrong with the specifications or the spring tension. After a day they start hanging/detaching from the ceiling. All bulbs are spaced about 1/2 inch apart. I will have to replace them. I cut the wires on some of them so I can't get them back, but I can't look at them. 18ft ceilings so replacing them is a serious job. I've used retrofit kits like this in my house before with no problems, so it's not uncommon at my house. Pay more for something better.

Excellent light, easy to install and dimmable. Ideal for this kitchen application. I didn't like that one of the six didn't work. Luckily I only needed four, so I still have a spare. There were halos with a Lutron Caseta dimmer in a 3-way circuit, but a $10 Lutron capacitor solved that problem. Update - Cannot be used with a Lutron Caseta Dimmer. We had several lightbulbs in the basement of a newly bought house. After receiving the first bill and calculating the savings in changing from equivalent 71W LEDs to equivalent 15W LEDs, we decided to buy 6 pcs and replace all 6 in the basement.
