Review on πŸ”† Upgradeable LED Recessed Downlight for Enhanced Dimming Capabilities by Aaron Ward

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good light and less electricity

We had several lightbulbs in the basement of a newly bought house. After receiving the first bill and calculating the savings in changing from equivalent 71W LEDs to equivalent 15W LEDs, we decided to buy 6 pcs and replace all 6 in the basement. The light is VERY bright. Great for a basement with limited windows but I recommend a dimmer. Speaking of dimmers, we noticed that two of them didn't dim. After swapping out these retrofits and installing some LED bulbs, we found that this circuit was not compatible with those bulbs. At the moment that means we have two spares. I didn't rate durability. I'll address that later when they're installed year-round. A few years ago we bought a branded retrofit kit that is still used in our previous home.
