This is a purple stripe that makes the black ink glow. Not like real 265nm black light, the light is still visible. The dimming function is nice. It would be better digital and intelligent connection.

Right out of the box there was a problem with the LED strip not burning. The barrel connector is soldered directly through the pigtail to the LED strip and had a short circuit. If I had kinked the power cord, it would have caught fire. I contacted the seller and they offered to return it to Revain but there was another way. There is a spare pigtail in the box for clamping the LED strip. The clamping mechanism didn't work either, but I cut it off and cut off the barrel connector already attached

Glue works well. I placed the strip on the bottom of the counter and it stuck perfectly to the chipboard. It's quite bright, I can see its effect on all the white stuff all over the room. Our museum used 4 of these to display black light responsive artwork for an exhibition. We actually had to replace 2 other black light strips from another company as they didn't last very long. We use 2 with dimmers and 2 without as it is an extra part. The flat back of the switch makes it easy to attach to the wall using mounting brackets.
