The light switch is easy to turn on and off. However, the switch does not permanently make the light brighter or darker. I tried different ways of touching and holding the switch. nothing is stable. Installation would have been very easy if the company hadn't used very soft cheap screws. The screws can be easily knocked off with a screwdriver.

They are perfect for our bedroom. They attach to our headboard to provide reading lights. Each is small enough not to disturb your partner. They're dimmable, but we've found that once we've set the right level, we rarely change them. And to turn them on or off, all it takes is a touch. Mine is set just below full max power, which is good enough for reading. The beam is relatively tightly focused, so it doesn't light up the entire room unless you aim it at the ceiling - in which case it will.

I thought these guys had a deal. They were sold as dimmable but only turned on and off so they didn't work properly (almost double the price of the non-dimmable style). They weren't terrible, but they looked cheap and only mounted horizontally with screws unless you changed the orientation of the base, which is useless if you plan to screw into wall studs (e.g. as bedroom wall lights). Very disappointed and had to return, bought a better model from acegoo and was very glad I didn't keep this…

Pleasantly light and easy to install. Beware of tight spaces as you will need to insert set screws on the side to secure the lamp base to the internal mounting bracket. The light has a good brightness and the dimming function is great. The plug block is a little big, it looks like old phone charging blocks or calculators (yes, those old things), so you might have to consider putting the bed against the wall.
