I love having a dimly lit room so this was a great buy for me! The light is neon pink purple by the way, unless that's what you want. Very easy to set up and install and so far none of the little LEDs have broken! The image above shows how the light is projected at 100% when the room is completely dark!

I bought these to set the mood for a Halloween party. I was surprised how small the box was. The coil was about 4 inches in diameter and the LEDs were small dots on a copper wire. But I was struck by how much light they gave off. Maybe I'll buy another thread and increase the coverage area. I stapled the plastic wire tie and then secured it, concerned that the construction stapler might cut through the small copper wires.

So they're VERY long, so don't lie about it. The price + length are probably worth it, especially on a budget, but if you want a remote that works flawlessly, not too much. Each key takes about 4-5 clicks before responding. Also, "fairy" is an understatement for how tiny these lights are. It can't be seen in the pictures, but the whole roll fits in the palm of my hand. A star that docks above the remote but definitely caters for those on a budget.

You have completely stopped working. I hung them up while doing this and they just turned off. I can't turn them back on. Before that, the remote worked fine, even with the remote. Have purchased this item in a variety of colors and lengths over the past two years with great results (expect shorter lengths to be lighter).
