When programs are burned to DVD via the S-Video output, the picture is compressed horizontally so that when viewed on your TV in 'Stretch' or 'Fill' mode you get a FULL picture with no side clipping. Unit works as described. When adding this recipient to our existing account, everything worked beautifully. We saved over $350 by purchasing this unit from Revain instead of direct from DirecTV, and it didn't renew our contract with DTV. Thanks very much!
