Dirt Devil Cordless Rechargeable BD10320B Review

I was so hoping that the flap would be a great way to collect crumbs etc in the kitchen and I was even happier with the ability to quickly collect hairballs. Unfortunately, the tiny filter "fills up" so quickly that it has to be cleaned constantly. There is fur on the flap and I can't find a good way to clean it. It's compact with a good battery, but I find my vacuum easier and quicker to use over time because this little thing doesn't have what it takes. I would return it if I could.

Dirt Devil support ticket submitted as it was not working after one use. We got this when my wife had a rental car because she had a week to get it fixed and we wanted the rental car cleaned before returning it. We charged it overnight before using it and it worked great for one time. Since then when I plug it into the charger the lights have been flashing like it's doing something but then stop after 15 flashes (less than a minute). This impressive little vacuum for less than $50 actually costs less than the removable batteries for my previous lithium ion handheld vacuum (Hoover Linx 18 volt) . We have several of these and have enjoyed them immensely for years. Excellent goods. However, in recent years, the batteries we bought just didn't work.
