Looks like it's being sold as a spoon rest and it actually serves that purpose, but when it's used as a spoon rest, Disney characters look to the back of the oven. It's probably fine as a wall hanger, but as a spoon holder, find one that really looks at you. Strength? It's ceramic, for goodness sake! Skip at your own risk.

I actually bought this as a gift for my cousin who is a famous music artist and loves to cook and is so into Disney that he is totally obsessed and has everything there is to know Basically Disney is in his kitchen. I found this and a few other items that he uses quite often and is very happy with. He was delighted to receive it along with all the other Mickey stuff I sent him for Christmas. Many Thanks.

Love this spoon holder! It's adorable and goes so well with my other Disney stuff. My only problem with it so far is that it doesn't hold up as well as I would like. I drink a lot of tea so this spoon holder usually sits on my counter just to hold the spoon I've used to stir sugar into my tea or sometimes creamer into my coffee so it doesn't feel like big heavy spoons are constantly being thrown lying on it.
