Ceramic Figurine: Disney Mickey Mouse Review

Mickey Mouse lovers. gift from my friend. I rarely use it for fear of breaking it. I'll probably have a heart attack and it will probably replace it, but I'm trying to be careful. I am someone who trips over lint and I cook in cast iron pans. Very heavy and I used to move it from eye to eye depending on what was in the pan. I'm afraid if the pan comes in contact with the spoon holder it will break.

Is it a bad idea to ship fragile items via USPS without an external label? Until they took it out of the box, the handle seemed pretty secure, and then the handle just popped out. The box shows NO signs of abuse - no creases, creases or mutilations. The poor thing must have been mistreated during the transfer if she sustained such an injury. The seller will return the money, but I would have preferred an unbroken spoon holder - it should replace the one given earlier.

I bought this as a gift and was very disappointed with the packaging that the product came in. Rather than a secure box, this one shipped with minimal bubble wrap and an envelope-like exterior that's better suited to t-shirts. The product itself is ceramic and obviously went the hard way when it arrived with a broken handle. Also, there were a few spots where the gloss/paint had chipped. If this was a purchase for myself I would happily re-stick the handle. But since it was intended as a gift…
