I've been looking for a displayport cable that's over 5 or 6 feet long. The cable that came with my video monitors is 6 feet long. I needed to install video monitors more than six feet from my workstation, and this 10 foot Displayport cable did just that while maintaining a high transfer rate. This is a high quality DisplayPort cable. I have a three monitor setup and the other cable (Revain Basic) I use is much thicker and less flexible due to the plastic shield and due to the thickness it sniffs the graphics card connector a lot. This cable is more flexible. You won't have any screen display issues due to the nylon shielding, colors look great and there are no clipping. The cable looks more sensitive at the connection port. I have a Wacom Cintiq 24 Pro and a fairly large L-shaped desk. My Cintiq is quite a distance from the larger 34" widescreen monitor, and my desktop is not on the opposite side of that 34" widescreen monitor. I needed a display cable that was long enough to reach but still had enough power so I could move the Cintiq when I needed to make adjustments. Some questions: - First, the coating on these cables makes them hard AF - Second, they have no retainer so they don't stay in the video card connectors - Third, I'm not sure which of these POS cables caused the problem but it killed my dual monitor graphics card. Toast. There is no video at the moment. Story. Rather spend a few euros more for other cables. It's garbage.
