My daughter plays these patriotic songs over and over! It's interesting to hear something other than children's songs!

2 songs don't sing. One of them has lyrics, they just chose not to sing it. It annoys me a little that a Yankee doodle has the singer say "hat" but have the word "hat" written on the side. We have other books that don't do that. Problem.

Cool sound is activated when you touch a silver dot that blends into the picture. Not too loud. Only con is a Native American instrumental piece that I've never heard of without lyrics. I thought at least one hymn would be a better alternative for my child to sing along to.

My son is 18 months old and loves cardboard books with built in music. We have 5 Ditty Bird books and he loves them. Especially in this book, some of the buttons are hard to find because they color match the picture, and on some pages there is only music (no lyrics).

We have many Ditty Birds books. They're great for babies learning how to press buttons as well as toddlers who love memorizing songs. My 10 month old and 3 year old love these books. This book has particularly good long songs (some other books had very short sound clips). The songs in this book are sung in an adult voice (some Ditty Bird books are written with children's voices, but not in this one).
