Our daughter LOVES these books! She's used her 1st so many times it's beat up but works great! But you will eventually need an extra battery. Ha ha. They're not loud enough to blow into a tiny speaker, which I really like. The images are simple and charming. I like that they sing the words instead of just humming the tune. They are really good for sleep training and car rides. I hate spending that much money but when I look at the cost per use it's great.

Arrived quickly. The batteries last two weeks which is very disappointing. Our first book of this brand lasted 4 months before needing new batteries. Luckily I already had some. This particular book's speaker crackles even with new batteries. The series as a whole is cute, but the whole family wants her to play the whole tune. The alphabet song is the only exception that is already played in full. We like the book "Children's Songs" better than this "study song".

My daughter sent me a video of my grandson playing with a nursery rhyme book. She said that's what Alex had been doing for the last 10 minutes. The video shows him flipping through the pages; by pressing and releasing the buttons while playing songs. This is my 1 year old. He carried the battery from the first book we got at our children's party (children's songs). We chose songs to learn to add variety. While cleaning the house, a book arrived. Note the background, the vacuum cleaner and an Amazon box. It was intended as a Christmas present. I couldn't control myself. I gave it to him immediately. These posted are very durable.
