Diwhy Industrial Bookcase Shelving Bookshelf Review

Weak. Beautiful to look at in many ways. However, the worst aspect was the strength of the device as a whole due to the poor fit of the parts. I was very careful when assembling the product but there is not enough pressure between the hardware to stabilize each shelf resulting in the whole unit having a wobbly wobbly quality which is very disturbing. Also, the shelves were weathered on only one side. , so higher shelves with visible shelf made the bookshelf cheaper.

First of all, this shelf didn't take long to assemble (and I'm not very mechanical), it was quite repetitive once you installed the 1st shelf. Came with lots of mounting screws and molly (if needed). My only issue is that some of the pipes were not fully threaded/or cross-threaded. From afar it looks like a good shelf but up close it looks a bit cheap. This unit MUST be wall mounted as it is VERY heavy and heavy. I didn't attach it to my wooden floor for obvious reasons, for example it would be a bad idea to drill holes in my beautiful wooden floor if I wanted to move this unit. Looks good, but the Chinese production and cheap price have some significant flaws. They are all pipes and therefore all parts must be screwed together. Therefore, the thread must be turned into metal. This is where poor quality becomes a problem. Some parts screw all the way in (e.g. 6 turns), others only screw in 4 turns, etc. As a result, the entire shelf is not fully aligned or level. Looks very similar to picture. I ordered two units and the quality varied significantly between them - the shade of the stain was the same but not exactly the same between them. I love the rustic-modern look. Beautiful tree, quality product. Minus the painted metal threads at the pipe joints that result in uneven "nest levels" and almost every pipe has scratches, gouges, or paint. Limitations.
