Dixon Valve HB150 Polypropylene Combination: A Reliable Solution for Efficient Valve Operations Review

Does not fit snugly on my in-ground pool pressure hose. I measured the barbs and they are exactly 1 1/2 inches long so I have to assume my pool hose is just over 1.5 inches for some reason. It's not 2 inches as I see existing fittings are stamped 1.5. Customs service. I replaced this fitting with another brand that also said it was for a 1.5" ID hose but the barbs are 1.65 and they fit just right.

May work for nylon hose. But the barbed end was too loose in 1-1/2" flex PVC. Even with the clamp it was impossible to get it to bite. I needed this for an in-ground pool application that flex -Used PVC. Turns out that Flex PVC has a larger internal diameter than other hoses. Had to return and overpaid for a special fitting at the pool store. Not the product's fault. So I still give it 4 stars because it's a... Quality product is and the return from Revain was hassle free.

Made from polypropylene, this 1.5" NPT nipple adapter is strong and durable. I used it with a 1.5" NPT stainless steel valve and 1.5" ID nylon tubing. Easy to shorten if needed Pipe wrench to tighten it into the stainless steel valve. It scratched the "tabs" on the adapter pretty well, but it's still a lot of flesh if for some reason I decide to remove them later.
