Great for building DIY PC simulators!

I used them to make a do it yourself button box and serial race switch on my PC with a USB joystick kit. I wanted the box to be compact so this was exactly what I needed. The buttons are nice to press and come with nuts and lock washers, but I only used nuts and no lock washers as the threaded portion is too short to fit through the housing I am using.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Very sensitive NC switches

Looks solid, threads are clean, contacts hold up to multiple soldering but 7 out of 10 had really sensitive contacts. Just touch your head and it will open. Does not affect local control over projects, but high sensitivity raises potential issues for some projects. This was a plus for me because they were more sensitive than some of my limit switches, so I remapped them for limit switches. :D

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

I've used over 100 of these switches with some errors.

I use these NO snaps on various products I make. They are a solid construction for such a small switch. However, I've had a few complaints about these switches not working. The bugs were described as the red plastic button falling out of the connector along with the retaining spring. This is odd considering I've done several stress tests trying to break it by hand to no avail. I had to use two pliers to snap off the head. I only use these switches with 12 VDC at low amperage. I might continue…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old
