When I opened the package, I followed the warning of everyone present. "The packaging already had chipped and broken magnets and crumbling nickel plating. The magnets are absolutely horrible, not only in the build quality but they are JUST MAGNETIZED. Adding about 30 magnets per pack makes them strong of course, but even with just a 2 disc my photos couldn't be kept in the fridge! Definitely deserves a 1* rating. I really don't understand how this product gets such rave reviews!

They are stronger and thinner than other magnets I have used. I would say they are stacked as thick as a nickel or two. You have to be very careful with young children because they are so small and thin that they are definitely easy to swallow and lose. However, they work better than anything I've tried. Neodymium magnets are brittle in any form. Arrived in perfect condition, no chips, no cracks. SEPARATE them, don't tear them apart. I had no problems. After playing around with it and doing my experiments, there weren't any minor chipped edges, which is to be expected. They are tiny but very durable and can be dangerous in the hands of children.
