Fantastic Porcelain Drill Bit

I had to drill eight 1/2" deep holes in 3/4" porcelain stoneware. I was hoping those five eight holes would last. Well, I was surprised that one drill bit could drill eight perfect 4" holes in very dense porcelain stoneware. Look at the photos. I know I can drill more with the same drill bit. This is the best drill for the money. used water for drilling.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Great Price

Amazing at such a low price

I had to drill through the faucet. I've tried everything I can think of but it's almost impossible to drill or grind. It was slow and I used 2 bits but I was able to get it without damaging the threads. I've used other more expensive bits with no better results. Drill at slow speed, stopping every 10 seconds by submerging in water. The bit is wax filled and stays cool for the most part, but if you try to run through the wax it will run fast and overheat.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

Drills fine stoneware with ease.

These drills are ideal for working on heavy-duty porcelain stoneware. Traditional stone drill bits are not effective for drilling porcelain. I bought this set of 5 because the cheaper multi-size set I bought from another seller barely punched a hole. In this set I only used one drill bit to drill six holes and it still works. I've learned to use a bottle of water spray (or window cleaner) to keep the hole wet while drilling - just a spray every 10-20 seconds is enough.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic drill
