Worked great on a 2000 Toyota Limited 4runner. Our model had a factory amp under the factory stereo in the console - these harnesses connect to the factory harnesses that originally went to the amp, not the single plug on the stereo. At first I thought it was the wrong wiring harness, but it worked once I understood the amp situation. The original amplifier is bypassed.
