Irreplaceable assistants in knitting!

Good day to all my friends and guests of the site ! I don't like sewing because I don't like needles. They always prick me. But I love knitting very much and these two classes can overlap. I often have to sew parts and always, in any product, there are tips that need to be hidden. This is where needles help. Honestly, all this is not very convenient to do with a needle with a sharp tip. You constantly prick your fingers. I have always heard from experienced knitters about the existence of…

DMC 1767 Good embroidery needles: my truth review

Good day to lovers of cross stitching. Needles for embroidery are called tapestry. When I take the kits, there is 1 needle and the needle is not the most comfortable. I take size 24-28 (because according to the canvas I drink without a hoop, it’s more convenient for me) What's left. Yes, thin needles break faster and the ears fray. That's why I take sets. Blunt tip and wide eye. The needles are small, it is more convenient for me to embroider with such needles with a cross. I also like the pony

Pros
  • Small size
Cons
  • Ears are rubbed

I must have received the Friday batch.

I must have gotten a lot of leftovers because they were just awful. The sides of the needle near the eye were rough and caught on the fabric instead of going smooth. The points must be rounded. It's not like this. They are either sharp or broken because they too get stuck in the tissue instead of going straight. In general, sewing/embroidery with them was like nails on a board. I threw them away and ordered a different brand.

Pros
  • Needlepoint
Cons
  • Crumpled

Misleading, poor quality

First, the needles are not DMC brand as shown in the picture. Needles are also 5, not 6 like in the photo. The quality of these needles is very poor. The metal around the eyes is so soft and thin that it will bend and break with light pressure. None lasted more than a few hundred stitches. It's not just a function of size; the metal used should not have been so soft. They are only suitable for working with very light pressure. They are useless for small cross stitches. I see some reviews that…

The bad news: The supplied needles are much smaller.

Wrong needle size! I bought these needles as a supplement so as not to stop at my local craft store (knowing I pay a heavy price for convenience). The item pictured is exactly what I have bought from the store in the past. The product delivered looks the same, the cardboard backing and graphics are the same as in the photo. The bad news: The needles supplied are significantly smaller than sewing needles --> NO tapestry needles. To update. Went shopping to change needles and found both stores
