💡 Silver DMC 317W-E168 Light Effects Polyester Embroidery Floss, 8.7-Yard Review

The thing is almost inconvenient to use and the polyethylene silver foil all the time unravels the black thread underneath. He keeps undressing and getting tangled. There has to be an easier way to make shiny silver threads than this weird plastic/metal material.

I love the look of this yarn and its excellent DMC quality but trying to cross stitch with it is so frustrating and not DMC's fault. It's just the nature of the metal thread. If you do decide to embroider with it, be patient and use a thread lubricant like Thread Heaven or Thread Magic!

I make and sell greeting cards that our local library has and benefit me I like to embroider many of my postcards with embroidery thread or baker's thread (also called "fantasy thread").
