This was a pleasant surprise as it actually works very well. So far I've used it to make burgers and pancakes, both of which came out great. It's incredibly easy to use, takes up so little space and works fast. Why only 4 stars? It's not easy to clean. The plates themselves are fairly easy to clean, something like pancakes has hardly been cleaned. However, when cooking something like a hamburger that splatters a little, the sides get pretty dirty and difficult to clean. There is a small gap…

Cute and works great!

Update: I still think this is a very useful pan. Two tips 1. Use small silicone-tipped tongs to open and close the lid without burning yourself from the heat - see fig 2. Place foil and/or paper towel underneath to catch spills. The squirts are very fine, but even with the lid on, it was about 3 inches around the pan3. Gently press down on the lid with tongs (don't press too hard or the pan may tip forward) to speed up cooking and further reduce the size of the hole that splatters can come out…
