Great product for testers

Finished my 20A power supply today and used this product for DC output. Everything worked fine, no problems, you have to stick to the connection recommendations that can be seen on many pages, it's a bit confusing at first. The ammeter part of this product is connected in accordance with the ground wire.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Upgradeable

So far, so good. in voltage tester

I use one to monitor the charging of an electric scooter. 24V lead battery (2 x 12V in series). Of course, the charger should output a little over 24 volts. Half expecting it to break, I was hoping that the output voltage would be less than the nominal 28V or 30V. The charge stayed steady at 30.2V for a few hours, which was confirmed by the multimeter. The picture shows how it was connected.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Good meter for DIY projects

The meter display was nice and bright and all the numbers were clear. Compared to my FLUKE multimeter, these meters overestimated the voltages a bit, but I was surprised how close they were, the difference was no more than 0.1V Having to wait a second or two to see the updated meaning.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

These devices are inaccurate and do not meet specifications

You can get voltage and current from these devices, but they are inaccurate compared to multimeter readings. Also, it doesn't look like they can take 30V. I fried one with 25.8V. I've used similar products from other vendors and they seem to work better. The best thing about them is their price. You can probably get readings using volts. I'm not sure about the current. I've never been able to get a non-zero current from them, but my measurements were made with circuits with a maximum current of

Decent meter, very poor documentation.

It took some time to figure out the connections for this meter. Small red/black wires from 3-pin connector = +/- to meter power supply. (4-28 VDC) Yellow from the small 3 pin connector is the measurement input (connect to whatever voltage you want to measure which can be the same as the RED meter input or up to 100 VDC) Big RED / The BLACK wires on the 2-pin connector is used to measure the current. Black wire on the underside of the load voltage supply (GND) of the load. The red wire goes to…

Sophisticated wiring, user-friendly monitoring display

My rating and comments reflect the low price. Any of the 3 meters worked for me. The main criticism from others concerns the wiring in the circuit. I had some difficulties, but the YouTube video helped me a lot (see "DroneBot Workshop: ATX Desktop Power Supply", February 2, 2019). I only bought them for low voltage and power circuits: this is reflected in my tests. Below are the actual measurements for three meters in relation to my multimeter (MM) in 4 test situations. There are differences…

I love these things!

These are very nice little displays showing voltage and current. I've used two of these in a dual voltage AC power supply and they work great. They show 1/10 volt below my DVM, but I don't know if the discrepancy is due to the displays or my meter. In any case, they are accurate enough for my use. I recommend carefully removing the device from the case, inserting the case into the recess and then putting the device back into the case as this will make installation easier. The schematic is a bit

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Without automatic control

Easy to use and read; awkward to set up

It only took me a meter and I found that some of them were selling for six or seven dollars each. I was just wanting to save a dollar or two after reading reviews on several offerings, so I jumped at the opportunity to purchase these three packs for less than double the price of the individual packs. I bought these to use with my train model. Furnished. I have an experiment to do and decided to record the busbar voltages and currents during the test just to get some more interesting data. I…
