Dockable Switch Nintendo Protective Carrying Controller Review

This product looks really good on my Switch. I would recommend it to a friend. Also, if you have a skin/sticker on your joycons, remember that when you put a cover on, the skin can be easily scratched (see photo).

I was looking for a lightweight case that would still protect my husband's switch. I was pleasantly surprised by this. The price is reasonable and assembly is not difficult as all parts are supplied separately. This is the perfect option if you are looking for a lightweight switch housing.

I really like this case. Very convenient! It's thin and simple. Snaps around the back of the screen, covering the controllers on all sides. Easy-to-reach buttons, easy-to-detach controllers. Already bought 5 more people. Note. Easy to stick the bomb on the switch without any mess. Skins fit in to an extent, and you don't have to worry about the plastic corroding the console.

I like the versatility of this case. That doesn't stop me from removing the Joycon controllers, using a stand, or docking the Switch. The dock is stuck, but I can use the dock without pressing down and damaging the switch. The case itself is sturdy and I'm pleased with its ability to protect my Switch in the event of an accidental drop. I can continue to use the screen protector without the case getting in the way. The clear plastic case fits snugly and protects the Switch from minor drops. I feel like it's not made of strong enough plastic to prevent it from completely slipping out of your hands onto hard ground. The plastic is thin, not thick. When I put my switch in the dock it fits but is very tight. Since it fits well, the protective film ripped off when I tried to glue it in. Very durable case. The Joycon case was also very easy to attach. I had no problems and it's just perfect. I love it. The downside I noticed was that it's a LITTLE snug fit on the dock, but only if you push it all the way down. If you stick it where you need it, that's fine. Another downside is that this won't work if you tend to use your joysticks as a single controller (using the one that comes with the switch). The cover snaps right around the remotes and looks like a good protector. However, if you want to use the remotes for gaming at home by plugging them into an adapter that turns them into a remote control, you MUST remove the covers. It's a pain in the back every time you want to play like that. The cases have a "bubble" at the bottom which I think should provide extra protection/padding in the event of a fall, but this little bubble keeps them from slipping into place. I think this is bad…

This is a clear hard case that fits my pet switch perfectly. I was so scared it would scratch my joystick if I put it in, but it doesn't. However, this thing is so hard to take off with joy. It takes some force to do this and it's easier if you push it into the L-SL/R-SR hole, but I'm still having a hard time getting it loose.
