The cover snaps right around the remotes and looks like a good protector. However, if you want to use the remotes for gaming at home by plugging them into an adapter that turns them into a remote control, you MUST remove the covers. It's a pain in the back every time you want to play like that. The cases have a "bubble" at the bottom which I think should provide extra protection/padding in the event of a fall, but this little bubble keeps them from slipping into place. I think this is bad design. Otherwise it fits the switch perfectly. So if you're looking for exclusively portable use, this is perfect. If you use remote controls to play at home, it's not so good.
