3 cards inserted into the holders and the extra 'pressure' doesn't allow the phone to stay secure as the case flexes. It fell and was scratched. I've had my cell phone for a week. The only way a phone stays secure is by not keeping items in its pockets, thereby defeating its purpose.

I have been using dockem cases for years and this iPhone XS Max wallet case is no different in quality and finish. lots of space to access. This time I noticed that they inserted a soft sponge material into the case where the sleep/wake and volume up buttons are and it really enhances the tactile feel of the buttons. Very good implementation. I highly recommend this case.

Looks and feels better in person. Fits my XR fairly snugly, but loose enough that you don't have to struggle with it when you take it out of your phone. The faux leather material has a nice feel - a bit rubbery which is great for grip. The only thing is that the card slots on the back are very tight and I think they will loosen up over time. I recently ordered this case after reading about the DuraFlex inner shell providing corner and edge protection and shock resistance for my $1,000+ phone. I took my phone out of the case to clean it and found the back cover was completely broken. This really annoyed me as it would cost over $500 to fix. I really wanted this case to work but as other reviewers have pointed out the fabric tension pulls the (already minimal) lip away as soon as you insert 2 cards into the slots on the front of the phone below. This means that the edge of the case is flush with the glass surface of the phone. I really like the design and was drawn to its thinness (especially for the bulky iPhone XR), but I couldn't compromise to protect the $800 phone.
