Description of Dress Smarter with Dockers Feather Reversible Black Brown: The Perfect Versatile Solution
38% Polyurethane, 38% Leather, 24% Polyester. Imported. Belt closure. Hand Wash. Reversible belt featuring polished gunmetal-tone hardware and single-prong buckle. Add one size up for best fit.
Judging by the picture, I was afraid it would be too thin for my father. However, it exceeded my expectations and fits well. It's reversible, like having two straps instead of one. Black is true black. The material itself is pretty strong and good.
Pros
Fits very well. good skin Looks great with jeans or pants.
This is the first time I've come across a belt that didn't end up being sharpened. Perhaps the line worker decided they were fed up with the grinding and simply strained the end of the belt. It really slows the belt down through the pant loops.
It looked leathery enough to fool me and I trusted the Dockers brand, but this belt is not leather and the edges are frayed where it goes through the buckle. Next time I'll be more careful and stay away from anything Docker related from now on.
After a couple of weeks of daily use the leather part of the belt came loose from the metal buckle. The flip mechanism works well, but flipping every once in a while seems too difficult for what keeps the skin in the metal end. It's also too stretchy to hold up comfortably with regular clothing, but that's less of an issue than a loose belt. Expected more from Dockers. PS Neither Revain nor Dockers justified this purchase. Don't buy this junk.
This item is a great everyday belt. The previous belt of this brand and type lasted for several years before the buckle finally detached from the belt. The stretch feature is great for all-day comfort, and I love the reversible feature, which makes the belt valuable for those looking to save closet space.
