Mac extended display

Hey everyone, to give some time back to the Mac folks. If you only have VGA and HDMI, the second display will not be recognized. Also, I bought a VGA to USB-C adapter and plugged it into a different Thunderbolt port and it recognized the second display. Perfect fit for Microsoft Surface 4 laptop

I recently bought a Microsoft Surface 4 laptop and am very happy with it. My only concern is that it only has 1 USB-A port, 1 USB-C port, a headphone jack, and a power slot. Product works as advertised. The main disadvantage, in my opinion, is that the "cable" that connects this hub to your computer is very short. So short it has to be on my laptop keyboard to get to all the other cables. I use a different, separate keyboard at home, but if I use this hub elsewhere this will be an issue. Doesn't work with My Nitro 5

I even asked here if it was compatible but when connected to my laptop it said it wasn't recognized. This means that it was not compatible with my laptop at all. I bought this to connect 2 external monitors to my work laptop. I first tried it on my personal laptop but it didn't detect a monitor and I was frustrated. After some research, it turned out that my laptop does not support video over USB-C and therefore is not suitable for my needs. Second monitor locked at lowest resolution with Lenovo X1 Carbon

I have a Lenovo X1 Carbon that I use for work. I have a Lenovo Thunderbolt Dock that works well with dual monitors, but I need a second adapter to take with me when I travel. This docking station was exactly what I was looking for. It was a much better price than competing products and had good reviews so I went with it. Everything worked right out of the bag.
