I think the size of this coat is a bit off. For my 14lb Shih Tzu, the XL size barely fit his chest but was too long for his body. I thought I could try adjusting the length but it just wasn't possible. I sent the coat back. (Quality seemed good for a different size dog.)

I have 2 pugs. Sometimes I have trouble finding their sizes. One is slightly larger and the other smaller than the other. One day I put on one of my dog's winter outfits. Immediately my dog cried out in pain trying to put it on. Worst experience for a dog mom. I'd rather you save money than let your dog suffer.

I finally found a snowsuit that fits my skinny male pup and covers his legs! The lower part does not sag, so urine gets on the snow and not in the suit. It works well by covering/insulating his body so he stays warm and doesn't come in with snowballs on his underside. This allows for a minor adjustment with 2 snaps at the back to adjust the width so it stays on him better, as well as another closure at the front so the velcro normally stays on even if he's moving due to rough housing with…
