DoHonest Bracket Adapter Suitable Pre Wired RV Parts & Accessories Review

A little work on the "ears" for a better fit in the body, but it seems the camera mount and this adapter are a match! I had to drill a panel to insert the screws. This is a solid board, not flimsy.

The camera itself works perfectly. It was the installation of an end wire on an adaptive wire. The description says it works with Furrion camera settings. I had to expand the connecting wire and cut off some of the plastic to put a fair one in. You don't need to make any changes if it works with a different setting.

I tried using this with a DoHonest camera but the holes in the camera mounts don't match the holes in the mount adapter. So for me it was almost useless. I also bought a DoHonest camera or rather DisHonest. I checked the camera according to the instructions, everything works. Installed, it works for about 5 minutes. PIC.

I used this on a 2018 Forest River Gray Wolf Trailer with Furrion Rear View Camera Pre-Wiring Kit. The wired adapter worked great. The platform for mounting the camera was tight, but once installed it worked and looked good. I recommend that you insert all wire connections into the Furrion body before attaching the plate, otherwise you won't be able to get it through the hole. I didn't and had to detach the panel to get all the cable connections back behind the panel.

I have a 2021 Grand Design 303RLS with a factory fitted shark fin. This plate made it easy to install the camera on an existing mount. No changes are required. Note where the small metal fin is when attaching the camera to the plate. The fin covers the hole for the Furrion antenna. It must be pointed to the right, away from the camera. I've attached photos so you can see. It took me a few tries as I was never given instructions on how to attach the plate. The cable worked as intended, no issues

This is a good kit with everything you need to connect a DoHonest wireless backup camera to a van with a pre-installed Furrion backup camera mount. It was in stock, well packaged and arrived as promised. The curved slots on the D6 mount mate very well with the holes on the camera mount included in the DoHonest wireless camera kit.
