Not the Dometic quality we expect.

Too short (close to the floor) but worse, one of the two latches (which attach the cistern to the toilet itself) doesn't engage. Also, the handle that dumps the contents of the bowl into the tank keeps falling off (it's only held in place by a tiny nylon link that bounces and slides across the floor as it falls). For years we have relied on the Dometic name for quality, but not in this regard. I do not recommend it to anyone.

Great marine toilet but only if you vent it and that's easy to do with a 5/8 hose, screw clamp and body vent. I don't like any brand of portable toilet if it's not vented because the pressure builds up inside due to the gas caused by the contents decomposing in warm weather. This also happens when toilet chemicals are added. It's one of the few portable toilets sized to fit in tight spaces like a vented boat. Works great, be careful with backstab.

For a portable toilet, that's fine, but watch out for a stab in the back. When the control valve is closed and the bottom of the tank is cold, as the temperature rises, e.g. B. on a warm day, pressure in the holding tank. On the next purge, the pressure will be released when the purge valve is pulled out, which directs the pressure through the waste in the canister. With the lid open, prepare to take a shower.
