Dometic 385310139 Universal Toilet Mounting Review

According to my experience, this toilet mounting is terrible. I purchased this product for my automotive RV plumbing and was extremely disappointed when it arrived broken. The package was also poorly designed, making it difficult to install. The only positive aspect is that the instructions were somewhat clear. However, the overall quality of this product is dreadful. I would not recommend this to anyone.

"Universal" kit with 4 holes for 2 holes is not made correctly. The 2-hole mounting holes for the new 2-hole toilet bracket are just holes! When the toilet is installed and the toilet screws are tightened, the screw heads continue to rotate and cannot be tightened. The 2-hole mounting holes must match the 4-hole mounting holes!

The original flange was damaged so I bought it to repair. I put it on top of the original four bolt flange, drilled new bolt holes, put some silicone rubber in between and bolted it all down. It worked, and the benefit is that I gained almost an inch in height. What's nice to have in the toilet of an RV. Ease of installation.
